1:2000 scale 2.5D

"2.5D" is a term coined by cardstock modelers to identify models that are made up of two-dimensional parts, arranged to give the illusion of a three-dimensional object.  They have the advantage of being simple to construct, while still being visually attractive.

Each kit includes the files to make as grand a fleet (or fleets) as you desire . . . just US$10.00 (ask for the kits by number - the catalogue is still in the works).  For more details on how to order see this page.

  • 2.5D Napoleonic Ships - Kit #401

This kit includes a dozen files, allowing you to quickly and easily build fleets of sailing ships representing the naval forces of the great powers of Europe during the Napoleonic Wars.  The ships can be printed in three different hull color schemes, with bases marked with the appropriate strength ratings for "Admirals" (downloadable free from the Rules Page) or blank bases for use with the Age of Sail wargame of your choice.  There is a page of naval ensigns of several nationalities, for marking the bases (as shown above) and step-by-step, profusely illustrated instructions.
  • 2.5D Eighteenth Century Ships - Kit #402

Like the kit above, but this one has models with hull designs, rigging and ensigns appropriate for fighting the great naval battles of the War of the Austrian Succession, the Seven Years War, the War of American Independence and the Fourth Anglo-Dutch War.

    18th Century fleets in action

  • NEW!!! 2.5D Anglo-Dutch Ships - Kit #403

The kit includes files for multiple sizes of ships covering the full range of types commonly used in the mid-17th century.

    Dutch Squadron under way.

Ideal for age-of-sail gamers with limited space, or those who feel they don't have the patience for 3D models, these little gems give you the look of grand fleets of sailing ships for a minimum of effort and cost.
